Logical continuation of the fine work done in the vines throughout the year, at Chateau Brandeau the harvest is manual with sorting in the vineyard and sorting before vatting. For small brandeau, the 35-year-old Merlots on a clay-limestone hillside are entitled to a gentle maceration of 3 weeks, fermentation in indigenous yeast and very light sulphiting. Everything ends in the bottle after a short aging in stainless steel vats.
