Domaine BELLUARD - Les Alpes 2018
Created in 1947, the Domaine Belluard covers 10 hectares in the small town of Ayse (Haute-Savoie) located in the heart of the Arve valley between Geneva and Chamonix Mont-Blanc. Dominique Belluard has been operating since 1988 one of the oldest Alpine vineyards where an endemic grape variety "Le Gringet", unique in the world, remains.
Today, for the greatest typicity of wines, the main concern of the estate is to cultivate the vine with the greatest respect for the terroirs and the production traditions, hence a conversion in 2001 to bio-dynamic culture.
The Alpes cuvée is made with the endemic variety of Savoy, Gringet. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place with yeast and indigenous bacteria. The maturation is carried out using ovoid concrete tanks followed by coarse filtration on white earth.
Grape variety: 100% Gringet
