FRANCOIS MIKULSKI - Meursault 2018
Domaine François Mikulski is a family-owned domaine, created in the 1990s by Claude Boillot, François' maternal grandfather. The 8-hectare vineyard is located in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy. The Estate has been managed by François and Marie-Pierre Mikulski since 1992. They produce wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and owns plots in six Premier Cru vineyards in Meursault and one in Volnay.
The Meursault 2018 comes from different plots of Meursault (Meix Chavaux, Les Pelles Dessus, Chaumes de Narvaux, Moulin Landin, Limozin Pellans and Tillets) which are vinified separately and then blended. The average age of Chardonnay vines is 35 years and they are cultivated in non-certified organic cultivation on a subsoil composed of fine scree rich in limestone gravel.
