Domaine Sébastien Magnien - Hautes Côtes de Beaune - Vielles vignes 2018
Domaine Sébastien Magnien is located in Meursault, in Burgundy. The estate has been managed since 2003 by Sébastien Magnien and his mother Brigitte. From 1983 and for 20 years, Sébastien's parents meticulously bought 2.5 hectares of vines in several appellations of the Côte de Beaune. In 2003, they inherited the Domaine Parigot vineyard in Meloisey in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Today, Domaine Sébastien Magnien extends over 12 hectares in 9 appellationsand is cultivated according to the principles of sustainable agriculture.
The Hautes Côtes de Beaune is made from old vines of Pinot Noir harvested manually and carefully sorted in the vineyard and in the cellar. The vinification is traditional with a vatting period of around 3 weeks. The wines are aged exclusively in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months.
