Domaine Thomas Morey is located in Chassagne-Montrachet, in Burgundy. The estate has nine hectares of vines spread mainly over Chassagne-Montrachet, but also over the villages of Maranges, Santenay, Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet and Beaune. Thomas Morey is the tenth generation of Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet. Having experienced the farm of his grandparents and then that of his parents on which he worked for 12 years, he decided to create his own estate with his wife Sylvie in 2006. Thomas Morey’s estate signed its first vintage in 2007.

This Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Truffière is produced on one of the smallest terroirs of Puligny-Montrachet. This plot takes its name from the Burgundy truffle. Even today, old mushroom farms are under the vines, although they are no longer exploited. The production of this cuvée comes from a vine planted twice and with equal areas. The first in 1952 and the second in 1986.
