Domaine Robert Denogent - Bourgogne Aligoté 2020
Domaine Denogent is located in Fuissé, in the Mâconnais in Burgundy . The estate was founded in 1922 by Claude Denogent, and is passed down through the generations. Today, Domaine Robert Denogent operates around thirty plots on 10 hectares spread over five municipalities. Since January 2012, the Denogent family has also cultivated 1.20 hectares of vines belonging to the Chauvet family in the Beaujolais-Villages appellation, formerly enhanced by Jules Chauvet, a pioneer in organic viticulture and natural wines in France.
This cuvée is made from Aligoté whose vines are 30 years old, grown on the limestone soil of the commune of Verzé. The vinification is natural, without oenological inputs and very little interventionist. The wine is aged on fine lees for at least 2 years in different containers: ovoid concrete vats, vats, demi-muids, Burgundy pieces (228 litres) and sandstone amphora .
Grape variety: 100% Aligoté
