Clos Lapeyre - Jurançon Sec 2021
Le Clos Lapeyre is located in La Chapelle de Rousse, in the Jurançon appellation. The family farm was dedicated to polyculture with breeding, berries and grapes brought to the cooperative cellar. From 1985, the estate turned exclusively to viticulture under the leadership of Jean-Bernard Larrieu . The estate now covers 18 hectares, certified organic since 2005. Biodynamic techniques have been in place since 2013.
Jurançon Sec is made from Gros Manseng . The harvest is destemmed, and the slightly settled juices ferment with their native yeasts in stainless steel vats for 3 to 4 weeks. The wine is aged on the lees in stainless steel vats for 6 months .
