Clos Lapeyre - Balaguera 2017
Le Clos Lapeyre is located in La Chapelle de Rousse, in the Jurançon appellation. The family farm was dedicated to polyculture with breeding, berries and grapes brought to the cooperative cellar. From 1985, the estate turned exclusively to viticulture under the leadership of Jean-Bernard Larrieu . The estate now covers 18 hectares, certified organic since 2005. Biodynamic techniques have been in place since 2013.
Balaguèra comes from late harvests often harvested at the end of November in successive tries. The overripe Petit Manseng grapes are pressed directly. Vinification and aging are carried out in 600 liter barrels for 18 months.
