Domaine Remi Jobard - Burgundy Côte d'Or 2021
Domaine Rémi Jobard is located in Meursault , in Burgundy . The 8-hectare family estate has been managed by Rémi Jobard since 1991 and has been using certified organic farming since 2011. He cultivates 7 hectares of white grape varieties (93% Chardonnay and 7% Aligoté) and 2 hectares of Pinot Noir. It produces several cuvées, in particular in the Meursault appellation, Meursault Premier Cru as well as in the regional appellation . Beyond organic farming, Rémi Jobard practices as little intervention as possible during winemaking.
Bourgogne Côte d'Or is made from Chardonnay from poor, very stony and shallow clay-limestone soils. Fermentation is carried out in Stockinger demi-muids (Austrian cooperage) and aging lasts 18 months in the same types of barrels, 15% of which are new .
